Behvazan Pharmaceutical Company
Behvazan Pharmaceutical Company was established in 1975 by a group of experienced pharmacists, who registered it by the Companies and Industrial Property Registration Office No. 23537. Among other cosmetics, the company produced baby cream, toothpaste, and moisturizing cream.
This company was founded in Rasht province, in an industrial town with an area of roughly 28,000 square meters and an infrastructure of roughly 8,000 square meters, with the goal of improving the health of Iranians. After that, the business established pharmaceutical production lines to provide the opportunity to manufacture pharmaceutical goods (ointment, gel, suppository, cream, and solution).
Furthermore, this company’s experts updated the production spaces in accordance with legitimate and current international standards and designed, implemented, and managed new production programs. The company currently has different production lines with facilities and equipment for producing sterile eye and ear drops, injectable ampoules, povidone, and iodine in a clean and controlled environment.
Quality Control
Using authentic, standard raw materials to ensure the effectiveness of manufactured goods is one of the most important responsibilities of pharmaceutical factories. This objective forms the core of the activities of the quality control unit.
This unit is built in an area of 360 meters and consists of 21 personnel with bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
This unit is equipped with GC, HPLC, FTIR, TOC, dissolution, disintegration, potentiometer, Karl Fischer, polarimeter, and others.
Some of the duties of the quality control unit:
- Quality control of pharmaceutical raw materials based on reliable pharmaceutical references like USP, BP, EP, and so forth.
- Quality control of primary and secondary packaging items according to current regulations
- Microbiological quality control of finished products and raw materials using reliable pharmaceutical references like EP, BP, USP, and so on.
- Regulating the quality of water used by factory
- Regulating each step of the production process (making, filling, and packaging)
- Conducting routine testing on a minimum of three batches of every product annually
- Evaluating manufactured goods through PMQC testing to determine their quality after releasing them on the market
